PTT(Polytrimethylene Terephthalate Series)
The main raw materials are terephthalic acid and 1,3-propanediol monomers. They undergo esterification to form BHPT first, and then polycondensation to obtain PTT. Compared to other materials, PTT combines the advantages of nylon and acrylic fiber, and has good elasticity, making it mainly used in the fiber industry.
Production facilities are categorized into batch and continuous types. The batch type mainly includes single-reactor and double-reactor systems. Continuous production primarily employs a four-reactor process, with special emphasis on controlling side reactions at the end groups.
