PET（Polyethylene Terephthalate Series）

The main raw materials are terephthalic acid and ethylene glycol monomers.  They first undergo direct esterification to form BHET, and then undergo polycondensation to obtain PET.  PET is mainly used in fibers, packaging materials, electronics, automobiles, and other fields.  The production facilities are divided into batch and continuous types.  The batch type mainly includes single-reactor, double-reactor, and triple-reactor systems;  the continuous type mainly includes four-reactor and five-reactor processes, with some varieties requiring additional special functional reactor units.
